Screen Time Policy Developing brains thrive in our rich, hands-on environment but there are times when we use technology to enhance what we are doing in class. Check our our Screen Time Policy to learn more about when and how we use technology at school.
Ways to Support and Enrich Our Learning Space:
Volunteer-You may notice that we use “WE” as we talk about our program. It takes a village to create a rich learning environment for children. During the pandemic, volunteers have served as pen pals and storytellers over Zoom. As Covid restrictions lift, we hope to have more volunteers join us to share books, special talents and more. Contact Teresa if you’d like to learn more about volunteer opportunities.
Scholarship Support-We have a limited number of scholarship spaces for students. These spaces are supported by generous community members. If you would like to contribute to the scholarship fund, please contact Darold (our bookkeeper) or Teresa.
Supply-Our specialty is matching books to readers. We know that children must fall in love with characters, authors, series or topics in order to want to become BETTER readers. We love books and the materials that help us respond to books through art, drama, and play. Here is a link to Our Amazon Wish List just in case you’d like to add to the richness of our learning space.
